FOMO
Neuralab was a bronze sponsor of the conference and played an important role by providing a cushty live video production. Our team delivered a seamless multicam livestream, capturing every moment on the main stage to ensure an immersive and engaging viewing experience for virtual attendees.
Demand & supply
BlockSplit aimed to level up video production from last year’s event. The goal was to deliver a broadcast as polished as a TEDx talk but with the decentralized energy and cutting-edge vibe of the Web3 world. The real challenge? Seamlessly capturing the event’s dynamic spirit while juggling the technical intricacies of a multi-camera setup in real-time. To tackle the task, Neuralab rolled out a 4 camera live stream, airdropping BlockSplit’s action straight to YouTube. We deployed our primo gear – no rentals & no compromises. With a lean, mean three-person crew we orchestrated a flawless production, making real-time adjustments as smooth as a blockchain transaction.
Mining gear
We utilized our OG Blackmagic cameras, known for their superior image quality and Fairchild sensors. The setup included two Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 lenses and a Laowa 9mm 2.8 lens for wide-angle shots. The fourth camera was our secret weapon for the Q&A, bringing the audience into the mix and letting online viewers catch every insightful question
A bullish attitude
All camera feeds were routed through Blackmagic’s ATEM Mini Extreme, with audio managed through Allen & Heath mixer connected to the venue’s audio system. This setup gave us full control over the soundscape, ensuring every word was as clear as a blockchain ledger. Speaker presentations and media were integrated directly into the ATEM, allowing for a “what the venue sees, the live stream sees” approach with picture-in-picture shots, creating a cohesive and professional viewing experience. The live feed was streamed to YouTube, with all footage recorded in uncompressed format for post-event editing and delivery.
Proof of work
With meticulous pre-production and a deep understanding of the Web3 space, we delivered a polished and engaging broadcast that resonated with viewers and exceeded client expectations. The live stream pulled over 1K viewers across both days of the conference. Our team deeply enjoyed the whole conference which was organized to perfection, plus we learned quite a few bits and bobs on the exciting Web3 space.
