Nominis e29 – Robert Penezić // monri.com

By Bruno Zagorščak on 15/03/2022 Filed Under: Content, Typed & Long reads, Video and live streaming

Robert Penezić comes from the company Monri payments. He spent more than 11 years in PBZ Card working in the positions of Key Account Manager and Digital Channel Manager. Given his vast experience in card business, in 2018. he decided to take on a new challenge and become the head of Monri, which over the years has established itself as a leader in the distribution of SinglePOS devices to retailers.

The issue of all issues is security and there is certainly a lot of work to be done here. Especially considering the requirements of the market and users who demand that the limit for payment without additional authentication, which is currently 250 kuna in Croatia, be higher.

In the new episode of Nominis podcast which we are producing in partnership with the Association of eCommerce Croatia, Robert talks all about his motivation to leave a steady corporate gig and venture into entrepreneurship waters with Monri. Alongside hosts Saša Tenodi and Marcel Majsan he also touched upon the trends in eCommerce, phishing and fraud, contactless card payments, habits of Croatian online consumers, and their trust in online payments.

But that’s not all! Tune in episode 029 for more fintech panache.
