2015 Weekend Media Festival recap
2015 Weekend Media Festival is behind us. It was a great couple of days packed with awesome lectures and workshops. And it was intense! The night before the opening we were meticulously going over the program schedule and tried to shuffle in all the lectures we wanted to see. We didn’t manage to catch all of them because we had our own agenda – Backstage interviews live stream in partnership with Netokracija.
Boys and girls from Netokracija did all the editorial work and interviews themselves, while we took care of the production aspect and pushing everything on the web. Feel free to check our playlist with all the interviews we recorded.
In the midst of all this, we did manage to see some great lectures! We accentuate Brian Morrissey from Digiday who shared his views about megatrends in the media, Piero Poli from Havas Worldwide, and his talk: Ageny strikes back – view from Dubai and of course Pete Radovich from CBS who let us in behind the scenes of the biggest media event in the world – Superbowl!
Even though the weather was cold and it was raining, Rovinj is always such a magical place. Year after year we love to get lost in the old town and try to find new restaurants and culinary experiences. We don’t walk as fast as in Zagreb. In those brief moments of sunshine, we paused and took it all in. WMF is sort of an official closing of summer and the start of a new ‘business season’.
