Goran Blagus is a business coach and lecturer at our eCommerce Academy. He started his career in 1996 by starting the web hosting company Croadria. Later, he leads two companies and a team of 16 people, sells them to Iskon and moves to the position of director of subsidiary companies within Iskon. In 2009, he leaves the corporate environment and starts the Business clinic.
In the new episode of Nominis podcast which we are producing in partnership with the Association of eCommerce Croatia, Goran shared what his approach to business coaching is and how he helps business owners and people in leadership positions achieve better results. Moreover, he discussed how disqualification can be used to your advantage and why one-on-one communication is truly essential.
Given that he left the corporate environment and returned to entrepreneurial waters, it is especially beneficial to learn from someone who has experienced both sides of the same coin. He explained that his experience in the corporate environment gives him an advantage in the small business strategy. Meanwhile, his entrepreneurial spirit helps him step out of the box in larger business systems that may be too standardized for him. It’s a win-win situation.
