ZG WOOMEETUP: Things to do to get your WooCommerce store perform – in speed and conversions

By Bruno Zagorščak on 13/09/2022 Filed Under: Content, Typed & Long reads, Video and live streaming

Autumn edition of Zagreb WooCommerce MeetUp went full blown hybrid! with two-way online and onsite communication Marcel Bootsman from Kinsta talked all about online store optimization.

Zagreb WooCommerce Meetup group has over 370 members. Neuralab’s goal as the organizer is to share knowledge and ‘fresh’ information from the eCommerce world, but also to provide the group members with the opportunity to communicate directly with individuals that they might not be able to reach through some of the usual channels.

After a series of spring and summer online meetings, we finally get together live in cool WESPA Spaces. It was an opportunity to connect in-person faces with the avatars of other Woo enthusiasts from the region, find new inspiration and share eCommerce experiences with other like-minded people. After the meeting, we socialized a bit over a couple of beers and talked about future topics and ways to enhance our community.

Our guest lecturer appeared live from the Netherlands and he talked all about online store optimization via his presentation entitled: “Things to do to get your WooCommerce store perform – in speed and conversions”.

WordPress enthusiast and polyglot, Marcel Bootsman started his WordPress career in 2009 as the owner of an agency where he created and maintained websites but also developed custom themes and plugins. His great devotion to the WordPress community made him join the organizing team for WordCamp Europe and Dutch WordCamps. Since 2020, Marcel has been working in one of the strongest WordPress hosting platforms – Kinsta, in the position of marketing manager for the Dutch market.
