General
Neuralab team is on the lookout for a business development manager. This BizDev role involves lead nurturing, strategic sales planning, market research, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality web & eCommerce applications. Moreover, you will forge new partnerships and understand project needs in order to propose solutions that align with Neuralab ethos & expertise.
Business developers will work within the product management team and will step into the PM’s shoes for a six-month introductory period. The goal is to learn the Neuralab way of building web projects and to get a sense of the overall team values.

Compensation and annual bonus

Location
You can work remotely OR in the Zagreb office. We believe in quiet team-based offices so you will work in a cozy room alongside 2 to 4 people (your assigned team). Free car parking and bicycle space is included
Mentorship
Neuralab team learns a lot and you will have one mentor (plus several other colleagues) helping you along the way of proposing superb web applications.. This means full-on mentorship with daily progress talks. Mentors have 10 years of web tech experience and can be your pals and saviors when issues arise. Team is constantly in touch with clients, receiving feedback and using it to improve production quality.
What you’ll do?
- Educate and work with direct leads about their web goals and needs
- Coordinating with product managers and existing clients about their overall web projects (and how they can evolve into better applications)
- Attend events and conferences with other Neuralab team members, looking for opportunities across the web spectrum
- Forge new partnerships with technology vendors, negotiate deals, and expand our clientele, setting the stage for the next chapter in Neuralab’s story
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers and content creators to craft custom solutions that meet client needs
- Dive deep into market research to identify trends and opportunities that align with Neuralab goals
- Educate potential clients on the value and potential of digital innovation, turning leads into long-term partners
Learning opportunities
Possibility to work on internal experiments and Open source projects (PWA, WP REST API, WP plugins, 3rd party integrations etc.). Partnership with two education centers – HalPet and Ciceron where you can learn new skills or languages, all of which are compensated by Neuralab team.
Online learning
Full access to LinkedIn learning (Lynda), Treehouse and Neuralab internal library. The team has access to WordPress (Automattic) experts and their knowledge libraries as we’re the only WooCommerce platinum partner in the region.
Conference opportunities
Neuralab is a sponsor of most Croatian IT conferences and a regular visitor at international events like Smashing Conf in New York, WooConf or WordCamp Europe. Also, you will have a chance to actively participate in the WP community by writing case studies, developing custom plugins or joining industry workshops (like WP contributor days or Web3 Tales).
Job requirements
Experience
At least 2 years in business development or similar roles; ideally within the digital agency sector. Candidates with any form of sales experience in the broader tech sector will also be considered
Knowledge
Ability to identify new business with existing or new clients, build long-lasting partnerships and marketing / sales opportunities. Understanding of the digital ecosystem, from SaaS products to eCommerce platforms and everything in between. We’re especially looking for team members that are constantly educating themselves about the new interactivities and web technologies.
Communication skills
Fluent in all the languages of business and tech – English, Croatian and IT. A collaborative spirit that thrives in team settings, but can also steer the ship solo when needed
