In 2017. I was sceptical about the quality of the conference. Boy, was I wrong! This year I was worried about the health of attendees. Reason? Venue capacity. All lectures and presentations were jam-packed with people, and many of them had to sit on the floor or stand for hours. In my opinion, the conference reached its full scope in the current venue. Over a thousand attendees. It's time for something bigger!
People call it "Best IT conference in town!" WebCamp Zagreb 2018 is a technology-oriented conference for developers & designers taking place on 5th & 6th October 2018 in Zagreb, Croatia. 'Crime scene' will be the Plaza Event Center.
I have to be honest - I didn't expect much of WebCamp 2107 edition! It has nothing to do with the conference itself or the people behind it, or the speakers, or the venue... It has to do with our Neuralab Tour 2017, and the fact that it was our 8th major conference this year. We were live streaming most of them, we were guest lecturers and panelists on some of them, we were co-organizers on one of them... So we were not mere patrons and consumers, we got to feel the pulse behind each and every one of them. The old saying goes - too much of anything is good for nothing, so I didn't expect to have a blast on WebCamp.
At Neuralab, when we engage in online learning, we mostly go to Lynda.com for a fresh stack of knowledge. One of the most repeated presenters in our queue is Morten Rand-Hendriksen. That makes sense since the guy is all into Wordpress and CSS. So when we heard that he'll be a keynote speaker at this years edition of Webcamp, our immediate reaction was to do an interview with him.
