Staging is like a twin brother to production - they should look and behave the same, with an exception or two. Let’s resolve the obvious scene. Staging technology stack should be as close as possible to your production environment. This specifically includes having the same Linux, PHP, MySQL version, all of the PHP libraries and network settings. WordCamp Zagreb, the largest WordPress community gathering in Croatia, is behind us and it was a complete grand slam! After two successful annual Croatian WordCamp events – WordCamp Rijeka 2015 and WordCamp Split 2016 – which in combination brought together more than 500 participants, Zagreb was the biggest single event related to WordPress in Croatia.

From the beginning, WordPress has been known as a 'blogging' platform, a tool that allows you to 'quickly' publish content on the web. The world-famous '5 minute install' slogan has only pushed the whole of WordPress among tools that supposedly have no place in larger organizations. The promoters of the platform themselves are unknowingly responsible for such a feature, wanting to distance themselves from a cold term such as CMS. But since the security of WordPress (described at the beginning of the series) is the most annoying rumor, WordPress as a blogging platform is the myth that is the furthest from the truth.
